Walking Through the Wilderness
From 2015 to 2025, I walked through my own wilderness season. Life tested me in unexpected ways through health challenges, family struggles, financial stress, and the daily complexities of parenting. Yet, amid the hardship, there were moments of sacred beauty: marriage, the birth of my child, and simple instances that sparked hope and joy.
Being Held in the Uncertainty
A pivotal turning point came in January 2023, when I was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy. In the center of that physical and emotional pain, I experienced the comforting, unmistakable presence of Jesus—loving me, assuring me, and holding me safe in the uncertainty. It was in that very moment that I knew I wanted to be baptized. Through that surrender, I experienced a peace I had never known before. My faith finally found its true home, and for the first time, I fully understood what it meant to rest in Him.
A Map for the Modern Seeker
Having spent over 15 years working in alternative spirituality before Christ found me, I understand the deep longing of a seeking heart. Transitioning from that path taught me how to become a spiritual companion to others through the very framework I teach at Awaken Enchantment:
- Awakening – God opens your eyes, something cracks open.
- Enchantment – God captures the heart; the soul expands with wonder.
- Disenchantment – God deepens your roots, illusions fall away.
- Staying Enchanted – Love chooses God daily, and faith becomes embodied and whole.
You Don't Have to Walk Alone
If you are leaving the New Age for Jesus, newly walking with Christ, or wrestling with questions about your faith, you do not have to lose your sense of wonder. You do not have to navigate this transition alone. I offer a gentle, introverted space that invites reflection, playful curiosity, and a faith that is safely woven into everyday life.
