The angels wanted to address that lately there has been a lot of people being far too self critical. The angels want you to check in and ask are you being too hard on yourself? If so, please pause, breathe and allow a change of perspective. Judging yourself will do no good, don't look at yourself and see the mistakes but rather the lessons that stem from them. The angels are saying we all need a reminder that we are not here on this human journey to be perfect. You can't become perfect, you were born perfect! Perfection is not something you strive for, you have always been and will always be perfect at all times. If you are being self critical turn that judgment into an affirmation. Allow the feeling but then rewrite it in the positive. No mistake you've made can be wrong if you have learned from it. Rather than practice self judgment the angels are urging us to practice self love. Be grateful for any "mistakes" or situations that you may be judging yourself for as they are ultimately treasured learning experiences that elevate your spiritual growth. The world is built on duality. How can we recognize pleasure if we do not know pain? Sometimes the biggest challenge of being human is being able to look into a seemingly dark situation and to find the light within it. Sometimes it will be easy, a huge sun shining brightly before your very eyes. Other times you may have to search to find just a tiny spark beneath it all. However there is always a little light to be found and if you find that light and focus on that then you become your own miracle healing in process. You can squelch the unnecessary human agony of the rest of it and affirm for yourself you are worthy of being loved.

The last month I've noticed people have been feeling very ungrounded and out of sorts. As we move through this age of enlightenment and our spiritual bodies become more crystalline we will be experiencing a greater need for grounding. Focusing on grounding ourselves will help our physical body and our spiritual body to remain integrated and allow them to work in better harmony. If you are feeling out of touch with yourself lately, ask your angels what grounding exercises will benefit you. Change is constant and we are experiencing an intense period of it right now. It's important that we enjoy the transformation and the journey as much as getting to the end result. Arriving at our destination always feel rewarding but if we don't enjoy the ride, the destination loses a little lustre. Here are just a few basic grounding techniques the angels want to share with you, if you commit to using one or more on a daily basis you will feel the difference!

Ask Archangel Michael to place a protective shield around you at the start of every day. Two common shields are: White light = Protection, Pink light = Unconditional Love

Take Sea Salt Baths or Showers whenever you can – OR – jump in the ocean if you can! 

Sleep with a Plant next to your bed. Plants cleanse the air and the energy surrounding you when you sleep.

Select an affirmation to recite every day. Choose whichever resonates with you or your particular situation. 

Go outside as much as possible and seek out serene environments like a park or beach. Allow your mind to rest.

Before going to bed each night, ask Archangel Michael to clear away or cut away any negative energy that might have attached to you during the day. Then, ask Archangel Raphael to fill you with green healing light.

Valentine's Day is adored by many and met with disdain by others… I asked the romance angels what message they would like to share about this holiday and vulnerability is the word they brought through. Here is their message:
You can't have real love without it! It's also why so many people run from love and fear it!  So many people complain to us "why haven't I found love?" they talk and talk about how open they are and how ready they are but deep down they aren't being honest with themselves for they are quite scared, even terrified. Scared of getting hurt, getting rejected or losing love once they have discovered it. Here's what us romance angels say, you can let the fear win or you can call on us, commit to pushing through it and truly embrace your hearts deepest desires. Love isn't a luxury, it's a necessity and yes it comes in many forms. There is romantic love, love of life, love of yourself, love of God, you can define it by your own terms but love is what built you. Love is what you are made of, so why be scared of it? Because for years humans have created their own beliefs, judgments and definitions of love. Many of you have forgotten that love is eternal, it is omnipresent and it is unconditional. You needn't define it and judge it, just appreciate it in all its glorious forms. True love is being your authentic self and loving others for being their authentic selves, this requires that everyone have a certain level of vulnerability. True love isn't something you do halfway, it's big and its bold and its to be celebrated! Why do romantic movies with these big happy endings inspire you? Its not because it is fake and some made up ideal. But rather because it is very real. It reminds you of the love you stemmed from, the love that hadn't had a chance to be condemned and judged and overanalyzed, the grandest love of all. Valentine's Day isn't about being single or being attached, it isn't about spending money because one has to. Rather it is about celebrating love in all it's facets. You may have a pet that you love and that loves you, does that not deserve celebration? What about a love past that you think back on fondly, can you not recall those good times and hold gratitude for them? Do not be hard on love, do not turn your back on it for love loves you. Give us romance angels any past pain and hurt so that we may carry it away for you and exchange it for peace. Do not be afraid to be vulnerable, vulnerability brings with it great beauty and strength. Do not go through life hiding, a flower afraid to bloom but rather as a beautiful flower that has unfolded and is grateful to be appreciated. There is no need for walls and guardedness, there is only room for a beautiful acceptance and understanding of your vulnerability and the strength and people it attracts.

Doesn't it feel good to just be? These were a few of the words that came through in a recent meditation I did. And yes, I replied to my angels, it most certainly does. I am one of those people that always has something on the go, even when I intend to sit down and relax and enjoy a t.v. show or such, I end up getting up and finding something to do or bringing my laptop and find myself answering emails. Work never really stops… partly because I like it and partly because I forget how I have to literally remove myself from situations and regular environments to really quiet down and unwind. Your ego may try and sabotage this effort, whining about how tired you are and how you should just go to yoga or your meditation class next week, it's cold outside etc… One of the messages that comes through regularly for clients in a session is their angels asking them to "just sit and be still" on a regular basis. Sounds easy right? It's the advice most people struggle with the most. I've been attending group meditations and its very powerful, just what I needed. Sometimes as healers we get so used to being of service that we forget to let other people heal us in return. This is something I will definitely be committing to on a regular basis, having a greater sense of community and getting to a new environment with new people and a new experience as it helped rejuvenate and inspire me. Some good advice I remember was from my drama teacher, Mrs. McIntyre, she said "If you are lacking inspiration, go see a play. See a piece of theatre or work by your peers and let their creativity feed you." This piece of advice works for every area of life, not just drama and certainly not just creativity. It's important we make a conscious effort to bring in the peace and quiet time. If we are struggling to do that on our own, what a gift to be able to let someone else be there for you. After all the greatest feeling is to give. So this week the angels and I urge you to reconnect with like minded friends or even better, connect with new ones! Allow the support of others, enjoy the sense of community and inspiration it can provide. This will only become more important as we move forward through these global changes and spiritual shifts, we really need to band together more than ever. One light is powerful, thousands of lights all working together, that's love.

Hello my friends. So without going into an unnecessary, detailed story, this week I had an unpleasant experience in dealing with a business. My business with them had ended almost a year ago and basically they were trying to make me pay for their companies lack of follow through and effectiveness. After getting pissed off and ranting about the injustice of it all, I took a deep breath and thought… Why could this be happening? What could be in this as a positive? There were two, one was how experiencing bad service makes you appreciate good service that much more. The other was the importance of speaking up about service and business and the angels have guided me to share the importance of doing so now and carrying it forward. If you read my blogs regularly you've heard me talk about 2012 and how we will continue to see the disintegration of businesses and big companies built solely on materialism and that lack integrity. So the angels shared I needed to experience this and to get so frustrated that I would want to take action and have my voice heard so I could share this message with you. How many times have you had bad customer service and say you're going to write or speak up but then you never do? You get busy, it requires effort and blah blah blah… I've done this many times. How many times have you had great service and said I need to call in or write and mention this person or experience and never do? Again I've done this many times, we get busy, life gets in the way… As we heal globally we need to be speaking up for businesses and service. If you have a bad experience and that business is not acting in integrity, take action. As well if you have a wonderful experience, call, write or make it known. We need to speak up and we need to take the time to make an effort to have our opinions heard and our voices count. The angels say this is going to spread the healing energy and help make a positive impact faster. The light gains power and the dark continues to lose power. Sure we may have moments where we think in the grand scheme of things, it's a big company and I'm just one person so it's not like I'll make a difference… Imagine a group of angels standing before you with their arms crossed and a look of Come On! Every voice counts. This year is the year to speak up. I pulled an affirmation card for this and it's very fitting "I experience my emotions and channel them into useful actions." Don't be treated badly, get mad and then let that be the end of the story. Take the next step and turn it into a useful action. This ensures no experience, even the unpleasant ones are wasteful. Remember to do what the angels reminded me of, to pause and ask "Why is this happening?" The answer might surprise you and it may even hold those wonderful hidden blessings.

I know some people may read this blog and find it humorous but that will be because they don't understand or appreciate that every life is significant in its own right. Some will argue, the life of a butterfly cannot compare to the value of a human life and so I ask you to consider this… who has the right to judge and say wether one life is more worthy of existence than another? No one, for all life was made eternally equal. Yesterday my beloved little betta fish Henry passed away. He lived for almost five years. I remember when I first bought Henry I had asked the sales person how long a betta could live for and he said, if they were well taken care of, up to five years. I am so happy he lived as long as he did. About six months ago I bought my first baby aquatic frog, Eddie, as company for Henry and him and Henry were best friends. Baby aquatic frogs give off a mating call at night, it sounds like a hum or a buzz, the first time I noticed it I thought my cell phone was vibrating but it was Eddie. I have never heard him make a sound other than his mating call and always at night but after Henry passed, he made a repeated sound for about 5-10 minutes that was much smaller and sounded quite differently. Intuitively I know this was him recognizing what had transpired, speaking in his own way, maybe saying goodbye… Henry was my first official pet, I got him after my divorce and would joke that he was the only man I was willing to commit to. I named him Henry because it was a common name in the old days and often used for the leading men in romantic stories, good men. Henry may have been just a fish but he was a significant part of my healing process. Henry inspired the idea of a children's book called "Henry The Super Fish" that came to me over a year ago. When the time is right, this big pictured, illustrated kids book will be written and do Henry proud. I know it may sound funny, a girl so sentimental over a fish! But let me, and Henry, be a reminder that no life is too small. Wether it's a fish or a horse, all animals give unconditional love and their lives are all equally worthy. I share this blog because it's important  to know that no animal has a life of lesser value. Children will get angel readings and ask about their pets, it may be a little lizard, a hamster, a fish, whatever the case, the spirit of the pet comes through and speaks just as loudly as a human's will do. Honour your pets of all sizes and kinds, love them and thank them, for they all serve us in their own special way. All God's creatures bring joy to our lives, our job is to recognize this and give thanks .

Have you ever heard the terms "Dark night of the soul"? "Spiritual Awakening"? These are terms used for very powerful, life altering moments where people tend to literally fall to their knees in desperation and "give up" What I want you to think about is did they give up? or did they finally give in? To fall to your knees and to "give up" may not be your weakest moment but in fact your strongest. Having the strength to let go and surrender requires great trust and a lot of inner power. Don't see asking God or spirit  for help as breaking down but rather connecting with a friend, a best friend, that perhaps you'd lost touch with for a little while. It is not a breakdown, it is a breakthrough! More than ever we must be in alignment with our purpose and our truth. We can choose to fight it but will find ourselves in a tiresome battle, swimming against the current upstream. Be yourself, follow the tide, let go and trust. Are you tired? Unhappy? Burnt out? Uncertain? Now is the time to take your leap of faith. Let Go and stop fighting yourself. As you release the need to hang onto false securities and control, you step out of the dark and into the light and you hear the words "Welcome Home".

To be in the present moment in life can be challenging, and ironic, as it's when you achieve this that you will truly be free. However to be in the present moment with romantic love can prove to be one of the greatest difficulties we face as humans. It seems there is a built in human mechanism that constantly begs "the future, the future" Do we readily write off the future sometimes because we so willingly skip past the present? What if an incredible future lay before you but you were so worried about what it would look like that you removed yourself from the present, therefore never even giving that future a chance? Don't worry about the future, learn from your past, it's the here and now where we must fully bask! How do you feel today? Is the question to ponder for tomorrow hasn't approached yet, why waste it in worry and squander? How do I feel today? Is where the answer will be found. Pray, I wish not to question and hide, I wish to be present and succumb to the ride. Lots of love questions have been coming in so here's a poem I wrote a long time ago that I thought might resonate with a few of you: Love is lost, never found, a constant spin, this merry go round. It won’t stop, can’t get off, hold on tight, try not to get lost. So we let go, spin free for awhile, trying to satisfy our inner child. Never let go, never give up, hoping to land on a bit of good luck.

Too often we get caught up in the everyday routine and hustle and we forget to pause and ask ourselves this very question, What do I want? However the real frustration can come creeping in when we do ask the question and we don't know the answer. Imagine that… The angels asked me to write about this because it is happening more and more. People are confused, feeling disoriented and lost and can't seem to envision what their happy picture is to look like. So if this is resonating with you, there is good news because you are not alone. Phew! There is more good news, you don't even have to figure it out. There's a word that seems to go hand in hand with the angels and this magic little word is "simplify".  If you aren't certain of your dreams or goals anymore and you can't figure out what it is that will make you happy, relax because you're angels know. How brilliant is that, right! All you need to do is simplify your prayers. I wrote a line in my second book which papa shares with Deliah "Sometimes a simple wish is what's best, a general wish for peace and happiness." It rings true. On a human level we always push ourselves, feeling this need to solve, solve, solve. But keep in mind answers to prayers show up easiest and quickest when we let go, let go, let go. Know that in truth your happiest picture and outcome is safely in the loving hands of your angels and all you need do is ask for it to be revealed. Then you simply pay attention to the signs, synchronicity etc… that will appear and most importantly you have fun as you and the angels work together to reveal your happy picture! So as you move into the New Year, give yourself permission to make a simple wish, say to your angels, I don't know what I want or what will make me happiest but I know you angels do, so please and thank you for bringing forward my happiest picture and life right now. Feels good doesn't it? It's as if Archangel Michael just lifted the weight of the world off your shoulders. Even when working with angels we sometimes need to remind ourselves that it's not all up to us, let your angels do the hard work. That is what they are there for, to help you. You have an amazing team of helpers behind you at every moment, use them. Don't buy into any illusions that you are stranded and alone, you are never alone. Your angels will make sure of that, now go celebrate the fact that your happy picture and all the answers are finding their way to you right now as easily and as effortlessly as possible.
