Forgive me for not posting the last two weeks as my laptop had an inconvenient run in with some Starbucks and well… let's just say I have a new one! As the Apple Genius informed me, that was the most expensive tea I will ever drink. 
Lately the theme emerging in all the readings has been one of power. With the 2012 energy and the new age of enlightenment, many are feeling the push to embrace their power more than ever. This can bring up a lot of fear and vulnerability. The way the angels describe being in your power is "don't sit on your power, stand in it." Are you standing in yours? Or are you sitting on it? If you know your power but are afraid to act on it, ask the angels for added courage and to help you push through the fear. This may lead you to healers who will help you with necessary insight and releasing, it may be as simple as meditating or setting the intention to call forth your power on your own. Either way, you're not alone. Power can hold negative connotations for some but rest assured we are referring to "loving power" as I prefer to call it. Power that is used for the greater good, the power of your potential as an earth angel and light worker to influence the planet, to inspire and to heal! Archangel Michael shares "Embrace your power wholeheartedly and without fear. You old souls may have had previous lifetimes where you abused your power in various forms, this may have created fear within you but it is unnecessary fear. Allow me to clear you of any and all fear energy, to cleanse these old wounds and to help you become one with your true power, as this is where you belong and where you will make the greatest changes on the highest planes." Trust the angels to support you and guide you in using your power for the highest good for all. Power doesn't mean sitting on a throne or standing before thousands of people,  put simply, it means that you believe in yourself. Power is getting back to the place of truth in which we know we are truly limitless. If you are committed to taking action towards your purpose daily, big or small, that is standing in your power. Remember there is nothing you can't do, no dream you can't move toward. Ask the angels for what you need to help you feel safe standing in your power, trust me, as always, they'll deliver!

Here's a statement we will all be the better for using... I forgive myself for being human. I needed to exercise this one this past week as I had made a scheduling mistake which led me to feel awful about inconveniencing a client which then began my ego creeping in and saying "That's awful! Didn't you do this last month too?!" therefore adding to my dismay as the ego is all too willing to do. I forgive myself for being human is a statement the angels have taught me that I come back to time and again with instant relief. In reference to this past week, it switched my train of thought to "Well yes, I did make that mistake recently as well but over the span of nearly five years that isn't too shabby! And it's due to the fact that I am increasingly busy which is a huge blessing!" Ah, the power of positive thought. If you are a perfectionist or tend to be very critical of yourself, this affirmation will surely help. I've seen it many times where as when people evolve on their spiritual path they become that much harder on themselves in those more human moments. Let the angels remind you that yes, you are a spiritual being but yes, you are also on a human journey. Be gentle with yourself, there is no need for self judgment. You are human and errors will happen. If you're lucky then like me you'll have beautiful, understanding people in your life who know this and support you. So my advice is to laugh it off, use it as a moment to gain some focus if you need it but most importantly give yourself permission to be human and to honour the lesson in the moment, whatever it may be. With this affirmation you'll move through the self criticism much quicker and come out with something learned as well, which is what it's all about!

Have you been driving yourself crazy with these 6 questions? Well, you're not alone… One of the messages the angels repeatedly remind clients of is "the who, what, where, when, why & how is our job" You just ask for what you want, listen and trust. When necessary if you are listening and trusting you will know when you are required to take guided action. We can get so caught up on a human level of trying to solve things ourselves and come up with all the answers. It's as if we have a hamster on a wheel in our heads that just won't slow down or stop spinning. Do not burden yourself unnecessarily with all this analyzing. The best decisions are made by blending intuition and logic, by using your heart and your head. We are all experiencing so much change right now! Besides handing over the above questions to your angels I want to mention an important step that comes up in readings repeatedly. Mentally Commit! If you have a change that you want to make but you are slightly uncertain or fearful, first and foremost make a commitment mentally. Say to your angels "Yes, I've decided, this is what I want, bring it on!" That is the most vital step because rather than sitting on the fence and remaining undecided this brings forward the movement on an energetic level to prepare us for any physical/material changes that will follow. Mentally commit and the rest will fall into place automatically. After you do this you need to ask your angels for what you need. Let's say you want to make a career transition, it feels right but you're too worried about your financial stability. You may say to your angels "Okay, I'm ready and willing to change this but here's what I need from you in order to feel safe doing so… money, time, energy, clarity, support… whatever that may be for you. Ask for it, expect it and see it  show up. Our ego can try and convince us change has to be drastic or scary but in reality the best change is gradual and it feels safe. Remember you always want to move into something new with love energy, not fear energy. So what do you need from your angels to make you feel safe and loved throughout the change? Ask for it and then move forward with feelings of safety and ease, this is what your angels want for you. This is what your angels will do for you. What change is happening in your life now? Look at it and even if it feels horrible or unwelcome, try and find the silver lining or the grace within it, this is your answer. This is your miracle healing. You are never and will never be unsupported so let go of the questioning and isolation and demand the love and support for you'll get it, every time.

Life is like a swimming pool, you can choose to tread water in the shallow end or you can choose to dive into the deep end. Sure both have there positives and negatives. For example if you choose to live as though you are treading in the shallow end or hanging out in the baby pool, you may feel safer momentarily but are you missing out? Check in and ask yourself, is my heart open? I am willing to take risks? Maybe you are playing it too safe? Let's say you are someone such as myself who prefers to dive right into the deep end. This too has it's risks, it may appear there is a greater chance of getting hurt. Perhaps you need to play it a little safer at times? Maybe you love the sense of adventure it brings but long for a greater sense of stability? Check in and ask yourself do I have strong boundaries in place? Am I taking smart risks? Am I living my life to the fullest? This metaphor is about balance. We aren't forced to choose between the shallow or deep end but rather we may gently move from one to the other at any given time. If you find yourself spending too much time in water that's up to your neck! then maybe you need to go relax and play it lighter for awhile. Maybe you've only been standing ankle deep in water for too long and are terribly bored. Well I suggest you wander into the deep end and try something new for a change. In life we like to feel safe so it doesn't mean just picking a side and sticking there but creating feelings of safety while we are constantly committed to moving forward and shifting. Don't be afraid to change things up once in awhile, change really is a good thing. Change may have been forced on you in the past or it may have seemed unwelcome, if this is the case and you find yourself carrying around a negative energy towards it, ask King Finvarra to clear that for you. He will set you free from the past so you can explore new opportunities. Sometimes you will take a leap of faith and dive in fearlessly. Other times you will test the water with your toes and gently ease into it but either way you are moving and that is what counts.
