Pursue your Power

Forgive me for not posting the last two weeks as my laptop had an inconvenient run in with some Starbucks and well… let's just say I have a new one! As the Apple Genius informed me, that was the most expensive tea I will ever drink. 
Lately the theme emerging in all the readings has been one of power. With the 2012 energy and the new age of enlightenment, many are feeling the push to embrace their power more than ever. This can bring up a lot of fear and vulnerability. The way the angels describe being in your power is "don't sit on your power, stand in it." Are you standing in yours? Or are you sitting on it? If you know your power but are afraid to act on it, ask the angels for added courage and to help you push through the fear. This may lead you to healers who will help you with necessary insight and releasing, it may be as simple as meditating or setting the intention to call forth your power on your own. Either way, you're not alone. Power can hold negative connotations for some but rest assured we are referring to "loving power" as I prefer to call it. Power that is used for the greater good, the power of your potential as an earth angel and light worker to influence the planet, to inspire and to heal! Archangel Michael shares "Embrace your power wholeheartedly and without fear. You old souls may have had previous lifetimes where you abused your power in various forms, this may have created fear within you but it is unnecessary fear. Allow me to clear you of any and all fear energy, to cleanse these old wounds and to help you become one with your true power, as this is where you belong and where you will make the greatest changes on the highest planes." Trust the angels to support you and guide you in using your power for the highest good for all. Power doesn't mean sitting on a throne or standing before thousands of people,  put simply, it means that you believe in yourself. Power is getting back to the place of truth in which we know we are truly limitless. If you are committed to taking action towards your purpose daily, big or small, that is standing in your power. Remember there is nothing you can't do, no dream you can't move toward. Ask the angels for what you need to help you feel safe standing in your power, trust me, as always, they'll deliver!

Giving Up or Giving In?

Have you ever heard the terms "Dark night of the soul"? "Spiritual Awakening"? These are terms used for very powerful, life altering moments where people tend to literally fall to their knees in desperation and "give up" What I want you to think about is did they give up? or did they finally give in? To fall to your knees and to "give up" may not be your weakest moment but in fact your strongest. Having the strength to let go and surrender requires great trust and a lot of inner power. Don't see asking God or spirit  for help as breaking down but rather connecting with a friend, a best friend, that perhaps you'd lost touch with for a little while. It is not a breakdown, it is a breakthrough! More than ever we must be in alignment with our purpose and our truth. We can choose to fight it but will find ourselves in a tiresome battle, swimming against the current upstream. Be yourself, follow the tide, let go and trust. Are you tired? Unhappy? Burnt out? Uncertain? Now is the time to take your leap of faith. Let Go and stop fighting yourself. As you release the need to hang onto false securities and control, you step out of the dark and into the light and you hear the words "Welcome Home".

Intention Is Everything

The how you do something doesn’t matter half as much as why you do something. Good intentions truly cannot fail you. So many of the changes and general upheaval people felt in the last couple years was a clearing, a much needed release to force people closer to their true hearts desires. The angels urge you to go with the flow, just like water, life is all about the ebb and flow. You can bend over backwards trying to force things to happen but if you’re not invested in it, if your intention is purely financial or material, you are unfairly limiting yourself. Time after time in readings the angels when providing reassurance to clients will say “How can it not work out? You have such good intentions.” No matter what new adventure or experience you may be embarking on as long as you stay centred in your sacred heart space and know why you are doing what you are doing, you are in good hands. It’s when people try to force an issue or their intent is not of their own well being that things are led astray. If you have a level of belief and hope in your circumstance, then you have plenty. Don’t worry about things being a success, if your actions are stemming from pure intention success is a natural succession. The angels recommend letting go of any beliefs that may have been imposed on you such as “nice guys finish last” “being good only gets you so far” and more. Keeping yourself rooted in the positive and knowing that good draws greater good should help you to achieve peace of mind. If you have the intention of being more abundant because you want to share a passion and be in a position to help others, trust me the angels will be eager to assist you. Happiness, Peace, Love, Joy, Calm, Hopefulness, Truth, Healing, Helping; these are all examples the angels wish to share of pure and powerful intentions.

 Whatever you do put love into and the universe will bring it ten fold right back to you.

Gratitude and Grace

Thanksgiving; The definition of thanks is to give gratitude. On this Thanksgiving weekend the angels urge us to do just that. Write a list of all that you are thankful for. Don't forget the smaller everyday blessings, something as simple as someone holding a door open for you or someone sharing a smile during a particularly long day. The more we acknowledge all we have to be grateful for the more we increase it! Archangel Gabriel also asks us to make an effort to share our gratitude with others this holiday, share a kind word, whoever you hold gratitude toward, let them know it. She reminds us that very often the angels work through us, we may find ourselves in conversation with a close friend or even a stranger and if the angels need them to hear a certain message, they may choose to use those of us who are willing participants as the vessel for said message. We may not even realize it at the time which is why it's so important to honor our intuition; if you've been thinking of reaching out to someone or making a phone call, now is the time! Today is a particularly special day as it is 10/10/10 on the calendar. Take some quiet time today and be thankful for that which you are manifesting, even if it hasn't shown up yet, give thanks for that which is on it's way to you! Light a candle, visualize you're happiest outcome in anything you may be working on and with gratitude thank the angels for helping you to receive with grace. Here's an affirmation for the upcoming week: I am thankful as I easily receive my many blessings with gratitude and grace.
